  • Please be aware that this phone comes pre-configured with Picture messaging settings.

    All you need to do is
  • 1. From the main display, press on the Menu Key
  • 2. The main menu will now be displayed with messages highlighted
  • 3. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight my settings
  • 4. Now press on the Centre Key
  • 5. The My Settings menu will now be displayed
  • 6. Using the Scroll key, scroll and highlight More Settings
  • 7. Once highlighted, press on the Ok Key
  • 8. The More Settings menu will now be displayed
  • 9. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight Connectivity
  • 10. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 11. The Connectivity Menu will now be displayed with Data account highlighted
  • 12. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight Multimedia messages
  • 13. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 14. Another Settings menu will now be displayed
  • 15. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight Profiles
  • 16. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 17. The Select profile menu will now be displayed with Virgin MMS highlighted
  • 18. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight Create
  • 19. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 20. A empty profile will now be displayed, with profile name field highlighted
  • 21. Enter the following settings:
    • Account name - Virgin MMS
    • MMSC - http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002
    • Data account - Virgin GPRS
  • 22. IP address, press on the Select Key
  • 23. Two options will appear
    • HTTP
    • WAP
  • 24. Using the Scroll key, scroll and highlight HTTP
  • 25. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 26. Enter the following settings:
    • Use proxy - Yes
    • Proxy address - 193.030.166.002
    • Proxy port - 8080
  • 27. Once entered, press on the Ok Key
  • 28.
    • Username - user
    • Password - Leave this field blank
  • 29. Once all these settings have been entered, press on the Done Key
  • 30. Save? will now be displayed briefly
  • 31. Now press on the Yes Key
  • 32. Saved will now be displayed briefly
  • 33. The select profile menu will now appear
  • 34. Using the Scroll Key, scroll and highlight the new profile
  • 35. Once highlighted, press on the Ok Key
  • 36. A list of options will appear with Activate profile highlighted
  • 37. Now press on the Ok Key
  • 38. Activated will be displayed briefly
  • 39. And that's it! You'll now be able to manually enter the picture message settings
